The fixtures for the Premier league will be released at 9am on Wednesday 18th June

Always a landmark moment in pre-season.

What do you hope for?

1) A home game on the last day of the season - we won the League on the last day - and being at home helps on a pressure-cooker of a day

2) Home League games after Champions League away fixtures, but we can't compare yet

3) Avoid playing relegation candidates in the last 6 weeks of the season

4) Avoid an away game at a promoted club in the opening weeks

Sky's advert for the announcement showed the trophy with red and white ribbons on. Annoyed me no end.

Home first and last games and home or near to at xmas, everything else is a bonus

Was a comment on another thread that we had asked to be away for first 2/3 games due to stand work. Don't know if true or not but if so guess we will have a few home games on run in.

Don't like the starting the first few away, hope that is not true
Having said that we have to play everyone home and away so it shouldn't matter except my nerves will be shot if we get off to a slow start

Now we need the main event for those of us who travel and have to book a overnight stay. The date when the TV companies fuck around with dates and KO times.

Cant wait for the fixtures to come out,
Like others have said.
I want the last game of season at home,
And home games at boxing day n new years day.
I reckon we'll get QPR for our 1st game.
