Weekend Games March 10/11

Lesley is going to go absolutely ape. That didn't need a replay. You could clearly see it was a goal. That was every bit as bad as the Spurs goal that was miles over the line at the Swamp a few years ago.
 
Ludicrous that in this day and age that goal is not given. Even without goal line technology surely the 4th official can over-ride the others after reviewing it on a monitor and give the goal.

we cannot trust these officials to make the right calls. Ruining the game for me. Bolton go on to win 1 - 0 then it's an absolute fucking travesty. A farce.

What would happen if it was the last minute of the last game of the season and City needed a point to win the title and scored an equalizer in the last second of injury time that was clearly over the line but deemed not to be. You'd have a case for saying the result shouldn't stand. And it would be just as bad to win a title like that, never mind lose one.
 
Thats an awful mistake, clearly over the line to everyone but for the only two people who matter. To make it worse the ball comes off the underside of the bar after the save the ball has clearly travelled from beyond the line to hit the underside of the bar because it hasn't gone straight up.
