Weekend Prem Games Discussion thread

Re: barton

What a joke both players should of been sent off for that. It shows how bad the game is getting when shit like that is going on time for those players to be men on the pitch it was like watching wrestling there.

Let me put this HYPOTHETICAL situation out there, for those saying he should have been sent off and is disgrace for pulling Gervinho up and shoving him; taking away the oscar winning fall. If say, Nani did that in the derby, had dived for a penalty, and Kompany took exception and dragged him up and told him, how many of you would be cheering Vinny?
Vinny wouldn't do that, so it's a non-starter.

-- Sat Aug 13, 2011 2:22 pm --

I thought he's looked their major threat.
I agree.
No end product whatsoever. A winger who can't cross is like a defender who can't tackle.
Cross to whom this game?

FOR WHAT?????? HE DID FUCK ALL WRONG ARSENAL GETTING TASTE OF THEIR OWN MEDICINE. BARTON GOT HIM SENT OFF GERVINHO WAS STUPID ENOUGH TO RAISE HIS HANDS. IF BARTON DID THAT, THAT PRICK GERVINHO WOULD HAVE GONE DOWN.

plus he got stamped on before and kept his cool.

well done barton
Don't talk shite. Barton grabbed the gooner by the collar of his shirt. Violent conduct, therefore a red card. Should have been a yellow card for Gervinho and a red for the scouse twat.
^^ Correct.
And song(i think it was) should of been off a long time aswell

Barton should have gone violent conduct and simulation both red card offences

Agree song should have gone before but would imagine a retrospective ban may follow that incident

Quite likely Vinnie would go down in blue folklore. Nevertheless, it would (should?) be a red card offence. You often hear the comment ''you can't lift your arms towrds an opponent''. So, how do you define grabbing someone by the collar?

The Newcastle defence has looked really solid today and he's not had too many clear cut opportunities to deliver a final pass.

Ah, well it wouldn't matter as the hypothetical asteroid will have already smashed into Earth and ended all life.

Vinny wouldn't be Vinny if he was a classless scum twat.

Re: barton

In joeys defence, he's been battered senseless by arsenal so far!
Song should have been sent off for stamping on him earlier.
