Weird Similarities to 98/99

We still have to go and win the treble, but there are some odd similarities to the 98/99 rags season.

25 years before their treble they'd been relegated. Same for us.
On their way to the FA Cup they played games against Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal. We've played the rags, Chelsea and Arsenal.
The beat Arsenal to the league.
They lost the Charity Shield.
West Ham won the Intertoto in 1999 to qualify for the UEFA Cup.

I know if you look hard enough you can find what you want to...but any other strange similarities?

Same here. The minutes leading up to both aged me by about 20 years.
