Now don't get me wrong I think this lad is a tremendous talent but I can't help feel that he let himself down a little in this game.Today was a big opportunity to shine and show everybody his potential as an attacking winger. He showed some good footwork at times and worked hard when he lost the ball but he didn't dominate his fullback like we know he can. You could tell he was disappointed with himself when he came off but it was nice to see Mancini embrace him to show him he appreciated all his hard work.

I think part of his problem today was actually trying TOO hard.

There were many occasions today where a simple pass was all was needed but it seemed as though he wanted to do it all himself!

Still got a lot of learning to do IMO.

Still don't see the fuss with this kid. He loves his cul-de-sacs, that's about all I can say about him. His skills don't seem to fool anybody, no matter who he comes up against.

He has got an awful lot to learn but that's what being a kid is all about. He may come good but people on here have gone way over the top about him.

Pretty much bang on Citymad, but his time will no doubt come again, he does seem to be a talent but my fear is him actually breaking through with the people ahead of him....today was a blown opportunity for him but he will get many more chances to show us his potential, was very poor today unfortunately!

Couldn't disagree more

When he comes on in 2nd halves, teams are more tired, is pace is explosive at that time. Just needs game time to improve something he was never getting under hughes so just gotta give him time

Very poor today I thought. Tries too hard to impress with the fancy tricks & flicks when the simple option would have been better.
I lost count the amount of times he gave away the ball and against better opposition could have costly. I think we saw the reason he hasn't started any games this season!
