There have been two groups of players who simply should never have been relegated based on their overall quality: '83 and '96. The feeble capitation of the former, from a position of relative comfort in the winter of 1983, elevates it to the more egregious of the two imo.

Agreed. Everyone has formed their opinion on Pellers and there is nothing he can do going forward to change them nor are there any arguments left that we haven't done a hundred and one times already.
