Well played James Milner, however Aguero was the difference

His strength, vision, guile, intelligence, shielding, link up play and finishing was the thing that really changed the game for me.

Virtuoso performance and my man of the match, we are very lucky to have him.

aguero and tevez are different class, i love them both! tevez was outstanding and so was aguero, they never stop running thats what it should be like! all team played outstanding if im honest

I thought we were playing pretty well before hand anyhow and I felt that we were fairly comfortable. However, you can't fault Aguero. The man is class.

Milner was my man of the match. He put in a tireless shift and added a bit of steel to the midfield that's been sorely missing of late.

Barry should get a mention too. Often damned with faint praise, he adds solidity to midfield.

I believe we've had the balance between 'flair' and 'grit' wrong this season, and yesterday, Mancini corrected that.

Kolarov was the main direct influence on that game tbh, he scored the first, set up the second and drew the foul for the third.

Milner, Agüero, Tévez, Silva, Barry, Yaya, Zab, Richards, Lescott all brilliant as well, Balo was average, he would have won us alot of freekicks but for the ref...

Oh and Hart was fairly untested, but a clean sheet = a good performance by him too :)

No arguing Kun is a class act, but the difference was the midfield that allowed him to shine, and that owes a lot to Barry who patrols in front of the defense and gets things moving or makes possible the overlaps up the sides by the full backs and Micah to go rampaging forwards by dropping in behind.

The graft and guile of Milner who links up so well with Silva and gives him room to move is a big factor as well, it also lets Ya ya step up that extra few yards that change his game so much.

Both full backs deserve high praise for the amazing amount of graft they put in giving us the options up the side, and while Kolorov was outstanding it was Zab who got my man of the match, he has visibly improved from a journeyman who gave 100% to a seriously great player under Mancini.

What a pity we can not re-run weds game again with that line up, the result would in mho have been far different

Pretty much spot on here blue!! Gaz Baz is one of our all-time underated players of all time IMO! Milner needs a long run in this team now, alonside GB and lets see the difference.. and im not criticising anyone here, just that yesterday we actually looked and played like Champions for the first time this season and we deserved more than the 3-0 scoreline reflected.
