Well played to all those other Blues in Mary D`s yesterday.

I thought it was decent in Mary D's before and after the match but I just cant comprehend why anyone would want to chuck good beer over themselves and stink like a barmaids knickers for the rest of the day? Maybe, its just me.

And Oakie, the Munich song in the "beer garden" was sung with lots of gusto by far more than a couple of people I'm afraid to say..

I sincerely hope that the two daft twats who started to sing the Munich song by themselves in Marys yesterday, felt like soft pricks as no one else followed suit.
Well done to all those others who gave it a wide berth.

not sure where you was seeing this but at no point yesterday were two people singing that song alone...it was sang all day in Mary D's, by nearly everyone.

We were in the "back room" at about 1.25 onwards and left at 3.10,watching the Newcastle game.We were stood very near to the bar and these two daft twats were stood about 4 feet away from us.I can`t comment on others singing it as we never heard it from anyone else between the above times in that area.

ah right fair enough then, you wouldn't have liked the smoking area/beer garden atmosphere and chanting then haha

I`m a non smoker so you are correct. However I do love my ale as those who know me will vouch.I joined in with the chanting yesterday in the back room and never heard the Munich chant being used, other than the two soft pricks.Still if thats what floats your boat ... misery of others, including an ex City player ... go for it.

Loads singing it on the concourse behind 110 yesterday at half-time. Think stewards stopped them.
I was there, and the stewards definitely did not stop it. Loads of young lads and girls videoing it as well. It might be my age, but I was slightly shocked by the young women singing the Munich songs as well. It went on for a while, and there's no way the stewards could have stopped it.

I despair I really do - we have some absolute scum following us. Hate this video malarkey too.

The south stand level 1 was rammed in the concourse before the game, every other song was a munich related song, and whilst some choose not to sing and others tried to boo and drown it out the vast majority sang it at the top of their voices. Heard it being sung throughout yesterday more loudly than i've probably ever heard it before. That, coupled with all the missile throwing from our end and the wannabe hard men attempting to kick off from the safety of the barrier and a row of policemen it's unfortunate to say our fans did not paint themselves in glory yesterday.

The dick heads probably don't even know what it's about.
A woman at a former work place only ever referred to them as 'munichs'. A less classy woman you'll never meet.

I`m tired of seeing all the negative stories so I thought I`d be in a more positive mode than most, giving our fans a well earned pat on the back. However it appears that the Munich chant will not go away.

That is because some of our fans are too thick to realise that they have been living off this cash cow for years and don't know when to let it go. Probably the same fans that keep getting chucked out every week because they do not understand a no smoking policy.
