So thats it, reading between the lines it sounds like Mark and the backers have now completed 3 years work in 2 windows. So whats everyones views of the guys we have bought. Right players, right price? have we missed out on anyone, would you have liked to have seen someone else arrive or who we might go for in Jan.
I can't beleive so much as happened since May but we now have to build on the foundations laid.

Well, Hughes' first league game in charge of us, we looked like this

Subs Not Used: Schmeichel, Michael Ball, Onuoha, Caicedo, Hamann.

compared to our opening game of this season.

Man City: Given, Richards, Dunne, Toure, Bridge, Wright-Phillips, Ireland, Barry, Robinho, Adebayor, Bellamy. Subs: Taylor, Onuoha, Zabaleta, Petrov, Tevez, De Jong, Weiss.

speaks volumes.

The attention has been on the spending over the last 3 months but I read today that there has been over 25 players released or transfered out over the same period and looking at your two line ups it dosn't suprise me.
Will be interesting to see tomorrows line up,

Whilst my hope and expectation this season is a strong Europa qualification, I do feel that we now have the squad to push for a fourth place. Although for this season only, I would view this as a bonus as we are still a developing team. So I think the spending is now done unless someone unexpected comes onto the market that would be too good to miss

And with the squad we have, this season should show whether Hughes is made of the right stuff or not. Fingers crossed he is

Looking good so far - 2 wins, 2 clean sheets and we haven't been playing at our best yet. The Ar*e in a few weeks should be a good test of where we are
