I'm looking for a bit of football-related reading and am struggling to find anything great beyond When Saturday Comes and The Blizzard. Could anyone recommend any current football mags or fanzines that are a decent read? I've found one called Stand Against Modern Football and the reviews seem quite good, has anyone read that, or do you know of any others?

I'm especially looking for independent stuff. I know there's not a lot of it round nowadays and most of it's moved onto blogs and forums, but i'm a bit of an old bore. Even good fanzines from other clubs would be okay, or stuff from abroad, or the non-leagues, etc.

Having been doing a bit of research online i've purchased a couple of copies of old City fanzines aswell. Are any of them still around? I know King of the Kippax is, but is that the only active one nowadays?

Thanks in advance.

KOTK is the only City fanzine currently available AFAIK. Perhaps there's one on line but I've not come across it. There are a couple of blogs that are quite good.
In the good old days we also had Electric Blue which later became BTH, Blue Print, Chips and Gravy and CTIC. All were excellent fanzines.

StandAMF is a top read mate I've got all the issues 11 so far

Pardoe, I posted this a few weeks back, if your interested, let me kmow, no takers up to now.

I have a stack (approx 750 cms high) of (mainly) old fanzines, going back as far as Blueprint, I.E. from when they first started.

I want to get rid of these now, free gratis. If you want to take them of my hands, you are welcome to them, but you will need to collect. If you live in the South Manchester/Stockport area I can deliver them to you personally.

'kin hell - do you live in a church? 7.5 m high, that must be some stack - how did you get the top one up there? cherry picker?

On a serious note - pm me your address, if no-one local wants them I'll take them off your hands - I'll arrange a courier pickup next week on a day of your choosing if that's ok

Sack the teachers. 0.75m = 75 cm or 750 mm.
