Good luck to Cardiff Met in the Europa League. They pay to play.

"They will receive £193,000 for qualifying, but their players will not be rewarded with a generous bonus for reaching Europe for the first time in the club's history.

Instead they will still have to pay £150 in membership fees if they want to play their part and that is on top of worrying about course work and assignments."

Andy Morrison's Connah's Quay Nomads will be in the Europa League too. They start pre-season very soon. They had a season in the Irn Bru Cup...

15/06 vs Isle of Man FA
22/06 vs @cliftonvillefc
29/06 vs @AberdeenFC

So Andy Morrison's side The Nomads, face Kilmarnock on the 11th of July (return leg in Scotland on the 18th).

Barry Town Utd [0-0 with Northern Irish side Cliftonville] and Cardiff Met [lost their first leg tie away at Progres Neiderkorn 1-0] kicked-off the 2019/20 season with their UEFA Europa League Preliminary Round ties.

TV subscriptions and schedules are juggled around bills and holiday plans. The ripple of every change is mirrored by the frantic actions of a football fan cancelling a wedding in Benidorm in favour of a weekend wedding at Bolton’s Travelodge. Well, Bolton host your team that weekend. Aberystwyth Town’s last season kit is folded away, and you’re pestering Steve Moore at the clubshop on a daily basis. You’re pinging off text message after twitter message after Whatsapp group query, “When is the new Aber Town top out?” You know that by the time your £80 season ticket is printed, you’ll have the famous black and green on your chest but can’t be sure you’ll be wearing it before Gresford Athletic or Llanidloes Town visit. You’ll dig out your oldest kit and call it retro those days. When is the Nathaniel MG Cup Round Two draw? You overlook the first batch of round dates. It matters not to you.
