Wembley hotels

Normally travel to to Wembley and just go in and out on the day but have decided for the semi to make a weekend of it.
Any recommendations of the best places to stay that are within easy reach of Wembley without burning a huge money sized hole in my pocket.

Harrow/Edgeware/Watford

Anywhere on the outskirts of North London is usually the best bet. Cheap enough and only a few stops on the tube from Wembley

If we draw Watford though..........I wouldn't want to stop there

Chiswick is a lovely place, I stay there for Wembley and get tube. Has a premier Inn walking distance into Chiswick shops and tube station

Watford is a good place to stay and many blues get the train in from there.

Done that for an England game, it is perfect lots of places to eat and drink as well.

If you can get a decent deal, and you often can for semis, The Hilton or Novotel are the best Two, right next to the stadium.

Ibis or the new premier inn next to it .... cannot get closer to the ground... happy days

Stayed at the travelodge on Wembley high rd against Chelsea Saturday and Sunday £140!per room for 2 nights , next to jj moons and the liqueur pub, pubs were rammed with cirpty fans both nights and a good sing song
