Early afternoon on Thursday bus from Pennsylvania to New York, subway out to JFK, evening flight to London Heathrow.
Friday morning Piccadilly line to Russell Square, check in to hotel, family coming down from Manchester.
Sunday reverse the trip while reading the papers' glowing accounts of City winning the Cup.

Wow. Beats my "catch tube from home to Wembley".

Russell Square is a good base - I work near there.

Driving from Altrincham to Stanmore Station and 4 stops to Wembley Park Station, happy days!

Not an area I know that well.
Some have recommended a place opposite Baker St tube (5 mins walk), and Paddington is about 10 minutes the other way.
