No Tevez. Balotelli and Aguero injured

Just Dzeko fit, and we have Premiership and Champions League games coming up. Have to hope that Dzeko does not get injured, and that Aguero makes a quick recovery.

Maybe just play Dzeko up front against Villa, and go for width as we did against Blackburn

Front line of

--------Silva
AJ------Dzeko-----Nasri

God I love our depth. As long as they're all healthy for the derby, that's the main thing.

With the system we play we technically don't need strikers and can get by with extra midfielders for a game or two.

In scapuzzi we trust :-)

Bosnia play Luxembourg and France in next 7 days.

Can Edin Dzeko play 4 games in 12 days?

no game for ten days and Balotelli has a sore back. Thread title reads like a Daily Mail 'City in crisis' article.

secretly Mancini is loving that temporarily he'll have limited striking options so he can put more bodies in midfield.

Isn't Balo's injury minor and Aguero's likely to heal in two weeks or so? I don't think we're facing a crisis unless both are worse than feared. We'll play 4-5-1 against and stick Scapuzzi or Bunn on the bench if they aren't ready for Aston Villa but I think at least one will be.

Can easily get by with Dzeko and Silva as forwards, even Dzeko alone will be fine. Focus will change from scoring to not conceding.
