I think playing 2 strikers is a big part of the problem. It really takes away another player who could be pressing the ball high up the pitch. Which is what we are supposed to transitioning into, much like Liverpool do. I haven't seen much of this so far, certainly not effectively. Rather see Rodwell or Milner come into a midfield 3 which would give us more cover int he center of the park. With Navas and Zab playing so wide we are a bit open in the middle of the pitch and Yaya isn't known for his defensive work. It's also keeping him out of the attacking area by playing him so deep. I haven't seen him really effect a game so far like he's done in the past. Dinho has played very passively so far which is bizzare. Don't know if this is a tacticle decision by MP or he's just deffering to the established players.
