Any glory hunter can attend a promotion decider or cup final. The true test of loyalty is whether you were there when things went tits up. So I've compiled ten of our recent(ish) away games which have become iconic for the wrong reasons. Can anyone get close to 10/10?

Shrewsbury 0-2 1979
Halifax 0-1 1980
Brighton 1-4 1982
Derby 0-6 1989
United 0-5 1994
Liverpool 0-6 1995
Lincoln 1-4 97
Darlington 1-1 1998
York 2-2 - 1998
Boro 1-8 - 2008

Went to all of them, some very pain full memories. I remember the Darlo game because the dugouts were in front of us and Joe Royle was getting some serious abuse.

I always remind people about that game when they talk about how negative our fans have become, and about how it wasn't like that in the good old division three days.

The aggression was so bad that willie Donnachie wrote a column in the Evening news about how our fans did nothing but moan and abuse.

Very impressed you went to all of them.

What about Torquay away night game milk cup 1983. Finished 0-0

Me and my mate went down on the train at about 9 in the morning and missed the kick off.

yes was at that one, think we trounced them in the replay though?
