Delph looks like he's playing left back, not sure it would be right on Foden to play out of position on his first senior start.

Either Delph at left back or Sane and Sterling as wing backs. Would like to have seen at least one of the kids start but they've got to earn it, and there's currently better players that need games too. As i said pre-season, it's a shame or best kids play in our strongest and most populated positions.

I know its good to see the young lads get a run out, but I think the club really means business this year and want to win every competition they are in. Although a big ask a quadruple would certainly shut them cnuts up from Stretford.

Agree with the above. Trouble is we need to shift Fabian as well - so he needs game time to prove he's back to full fitness.

Hope Foden gets 30 minutes or so tonight - ww have enough there to be a couple in front by then

Chance to show us he can play as a back up left back in games where Mendy needs a rest.

how do they do that though ? training only does so much. the problem for any youngsters we have is that our squad is massive and we are so stocked in positions now.
