I never want us to get beat, obviously. However, it really isn't the end of the world if we play a kid and then lose, i'm assuming that's the fear of playing a kid, hence the comment.

For what it's worth, i'd expect us to win with Foden playing anyway, he's a wonderful talent. What are we learning with Delph?

I would've had Sane at LWB personally, and yes everyone will say he isn't one (neither is Delph), and yes he was shite against Everton but again, Is it so terrible if he's shite and we lose?

We have to shoehorn Foden in somewhere, he's the best local talent we've had since my Dad was my age.
Pulis teams are always very physical. Foden and Diaz will find it much easier in the second half when their grafters tire

Would love to see some of the kids myself, but we need to get a cup in the cabinet again this season.

I am sick to the back teeth of clueless football fans whinging about kids not being "given a go". In my experience they are usually the same no-nowts who spout baseless cliches about "the manager underestimated the opposition" or "play your strongest team every game".

The manager has many priorities to juggle. One is winning the game. Another is keeping the first team squad happy. Another is looking after their fitness. Sure, kids need to be involved but chucking two who are miles off the pace in a game like This would be asking for trouble.

I'm well happy with that team.
