Agreed, he is never going to be Silva. But I do think the major issue is upfront in Jesus. His movement limits everyone around him. You see Aguero come in and he is stretching players off. Jesus works better as a target man holding the ball but it's not what we do. There seems to be a reason we arnt being able to get him onto the ball at all.

Dias and KDB are probably the only players that applies to.

What? Rodri, Jesus and Mahrez have all be heavily involved. And it's not like Mendy has been asked to play keeper

They're a damn sit more immune than some poor joe jobless not knowing where the next paycheck comes from. They are mutli millionaires protected from the real world in so many ways its not true. To make excuses that they are fed up or tired is poor.

you still think he is a striker pep ?? if i was a striker playing at home vs the one of the bottom clubs and only touch the ball in the box once in the first half. i would not come out for the 2nd half

It’s simple, the team isn’t as good as it used to be. Pep has lost confidence in them so feels he needs extra cover in midfield. Unfortunately he’s probably right.

I won't try to guess if playing double pivot for every game is the correct move or not, but its plain to see after the team got spanked by Lyon and then Spurs, that Pep fears for the defense.

Pep is half the problem just now. He's contributing to our malaise with his team choices and clearly he doesn't gee them up enough to start games of with a bang. This walking pace stuff is just boring and not surprisingly easy to stop. We're predictable. We need guile, pace and unpredictability. We don't have it.
