I thought he was ok in the first half but that second half performance was almost laughable

Our predictability makes it too easy for teams wanting to park the bus and break. How many times have we conceded the first chance the opposition gets?

Our recruitment over recent years really has been diabolical. We have no cutting edge or ruthlessness in the box. Our attacking play is predictable and slow.

There has been such an alarming decline in the form of pretty much all our key players.

Agreed, he is never going to be Silva. But I do think the major issue is upfront in Jesus. His movement limits everyone around him. You see Aguero come in and he is stretching players off. Jesus works better as a target man holding the ball but it's not what we do. There seems to be a reason we arnt being able to get him onto the ball at all.

Absolutely Sterling, Jesus no form Foden should now be our engine in midfield not out wide, Torres in great goal scoring form. Pep making weird decisions, I starting to think he wants to be sacked

No excuses. All I'm seeing is turgid, depressing to watch football.
No movement, amateur-like passing, strange team selections with even stranger (if any) substitutions

Our last 3 home games were Burnley, Fulham & West Brom. 3 very poor teams & we didn't play well against one of them. I know we got 7 pts but performance wise, very poor.

A Derby day where not a single blue shirt came out with any credit. Even with no fans, if you can't get up for a Derby, football isn't for you.

It's time for each & every member of playing & support staff to earn their coin. The domestic season is in danger of ending in February if results & performances keep going the way they are.

I'd honestly settle for top 4, just to play in next year's CL as this lot have no chance of winning it to qualify automatically.

Unfortunately I feel the domestic season is all but dead. Not because of where we are in the league but because of how consistently bad we have been now for so long. It just doesn’t look like changing and even when we grind a win we all know results/performances like tonight and in the derby are just around the corner.

As to subs - Why does Pep say he needs 5?
He rarely uses any more than 2 and they're always way too late.

I watched the Chelsea game before this. Sure Chelsea lost, but Chilwell was fantastic for most of it. Certainly could have provided more in attack than Mendy. Huge miss by us.

Chillwell is just one of many players who we could’ve had that would be an improvement on mendy

B Silva is a pretty good player who is not getting enough chances in the midfield

We’re a better team with David in it. Don’t need two defensive midfielders again WBA for FFS. I like Bernardo but he’s out of form. The point I was making is that we beat WBA no excuses.
