The eldest young This! chap was asking me last night who my favourite other prem team is. Despite occasionally watching neverton when I was a student there and walking to Highbury when I worked in London, I said West Ham. From the relegation game when they were on the pitch and goading us. We started singing "we'll meet again". They joined in. All happy chums with the cockerney cowboys since...

Bench: Bravo, Danilo, Mendy, Laporte, Foden, Bernardo, Diaz

This is the toughest of the four remaining games so i'd go with our strongest available XI, assuming that D. Silva has been given the weekend off. Now that Fernandinho is back, i'd leave Yaya out of the squad for this one. He can start as Captain against Brighton. We're better off using the bench to plan for the future.

Ideally, i'd aim to give Mendy 30 minutes as he builds his fitness back up. Foden gets another late cameo and while i'm less sure this will happen, i'd personally like to see Diaz given another opportunity to impress from the bench too.

Match day at last, it seems an age since the Swansea game.

West Ham will be motivated to stay in Premiership, have home advantage and fewer layers worrying about pre-World Cup injuries. So it may not be easy, but expect we will win it. Expect Pep to make a few judicious rotations.

Go City.

In Arnautovic they've got a cracking player (when e can be arsed) who can always score a goal. Think Carroll is fit as well which gives them another option up front but Vinny will relish that battle.
Depending on Moyes set -up this could be a tricky game, although Mad Pab will not be looking forward to Leroy rocking up.
I wouldn't be too arsed if we drop points as the Hammers need em more than we do. But given our general brilliance this season i hope too see more of it today. 2-5.

Got a lot of time for West Ham. But these final four games are an opportunity we may never be fortunate enough to have again- a chance to make a name as the best season by a team in English history. For that to happen we need to beat WHU today and probably score at least 2. Hope they stay up though, they're a club with a personality and belong in this league.

This will be the test of how seriously the players are treating the last few games.

Easy to put in a display at home in the 1st game since becoming champions.

Sane G.Jesus Sterling

Bravo, Mendy, Laporte, Danilo, Gundogan, Foden, Bernardo
I thought Silva was in Spain this weekend.
