They were due back in training on Saturday, so they all get their holidays as planned, just the second half of the winter break where they were going to be training for a full week is only 3 days long.

After the break we first play an opponent which has shared the same break schedule as ourselves.

We’d be otherwise playing a Leicester team who already have a game under their belt following the break.

It gives us two games to get rhythm before we face Real.

Laporte could potentially play against West Ham and be rested against Leicester giving him minutes and rest before the Madrid game.
