Turned out nice again....

My takeaway: Walker obviously doesn't have Cancelo's craft, and with Torres ineffective, Aguero not sharp, and with KDB off form for much of the game, we simply struggled to keep the ball and tie the opponents up in knots in our own half as we have done so many times this year. Gabby improved hold up and link up, and Foden was much more competitive. Not a lot wrong with West Ham I felt. Very good win.
Agree with all that.Worryingly,Kev is fucking up even short passes.I'm sure he'll come through it but in the meantime he seems to be inhibiting Gundo so we have two players operating below their best.

Aguero got some mins, KDB got 90 and we won. All good from my point of view.

Always going to be hard playing wednesday night and then sat 12.30, even more so against the second most inform team in the prem. Sloppy first half, but think we controller the second half decently well and like I said, all that means anything is we got the win.

Who needs a striker anyways when you got these two CB's.

20 on the trot, 14 in the prem, 500 wins for pep career and 200 wins for him at city. Lovely stuff.

Pep Guardiola on John Stones & Ruben Dias: "They are the best headers, it's nice to see them score a goal. The second one was brilliant for the composure of

Pep Guardiola: "After 15 mins, we said today we're not going to paint something beautiful. Today is the day to take three points. In the second-half we were better, first-half we struggled. When you play a lot of games, a #UCL
game just two days ago, it's normal

John Stones: “It's part of us being such a good team and a collective. In big and important games everyone chips in. I'm just glad to get three points and keep this winning run going.

Another fantastic result and performance. Different skill set today, not about artistry and free-flowing football, but showing resilience and digging in when required.

Stones and Dias outstanding, as was Zinkchenko, who like Cancelo, is revelling in his role as a lb, stroke deep lying midfield playmaker. Walkers pace saved us on a number of occasions also.

KDB not at his best, but provided the decisive moment when required as did Mahrez. Fern put in a typical Fern performance breaking up play and linking things together.

Others positives game time for Torres and Aguero. Fantastic three points and another banana skin averted. Great effort lads
