dimitri-payet could well be the star of this season

Other recruits in Ogbonna, Obiang , Lanzini look promising and most importantly keeping the likes of Sakho, Valencia and Jenkinson for another year.

Our teams fielded so far in Europe have been full of kids and reserves so cant judge too much on these performances.

I've always had a soft spot for the hammers. I hope their European adventure doesn't affect their league performances too much.
Exciting new manager - I'm predicting the cliched 'roller coaster'... ending up a creditable ninth.
