Me and the wife go for a train ride every week, and find the local Spoons in whichever town we travel to.
Last week was Macclesfield, tomorrow is Glossop, and next week is Southport.
And in early November it will be Congleton and Stoke- on-Trent the week after.
I usually try a pint of real ale, Wobbly Bob (6%ABV) is one of my favourites.
We also went to Blackburn a couple of weeks ago,and I sent the wife to the bar to get me a pint of Beartown Brewery
Bear Ass, which got a few laughs and giggles from the bar staff and guys at the bar, and had my wife blushing with embarrassment.

Had a couple of the King goblins today in Altrincham. Probably try a few different ones in Stockport tomorrow. The zulu blond was tasty yesterday in Poynton. Happy hunting

Our local Spoons is excellent and I shall absolutely be making the most of the festival, making sure I have a pint of all that's on offer.

Their real ales are good, and they always let you have a taster of any you wish before buying.

Will certinly be going for a couple of pints of "Salopian The Murmurings Of A Lost Leviathan" (4.8% from th Salopian Brewery).

Note that on the app you can set an alert for when each beer is available.
