Can’t believe that England team selection!! Full backs both defensively poor so expect plenty of crosses into the England penalty area = another busy night for Millie Bright. Earps will be tested.

Think that a lot will depend on the England bench tonight. Sweden must be delighted with that England team.
The usual suspects will all be hooked - Daly, Kirby and White - and it will be up to Greenwood, Toone, Russo and possibly Kelly to try to secure victory.

Yes I am a little disappointed to see Daly, White and Kirby start too. We really need to start on the front foot. Hopefully Sweden will be as wasteful in front of goal as they were against Belgium.

I know Fran Kirby is the "mini Messi" and all that but Kelly is electric. She has, in my opinion, more pace than Kirby at this point in Kirby's career. Not to mention, Chloe has a few tricks of her own up her sleeves.

Maybe it is my blue tinted (sky blue) specs but Kelly is a budding superstar and would show those who don't already know of her with more game time.

Don’t think she was in the right mind to do it. Understood the reason for change of captain but not that her presence in the squad would undermine the new captain.

I don't know what greenwood, Russo, Toone and Kelly have to do to get a start if their appearances this tournament aren't deemed enough. likewise, I don't know how little Daly, kirby and white can do compared to their replacements before getting dropped.

Isn't she supposed to be a top coach, Phil Neville level of brain dead choices. Semi final was the time to do it, a lot harder to do it before a final and the final opponents will be too good to be chasing the game with thr subs that should have started.

Crackers not to have kelly in the starting line up, maybe we are all a bit biased on here, but the introduction of Kelly and greenwood in the Spain game totally changed the match, England were pretty ordinary before they came on

People used to always say "dont change a winning side". Yes one or 2 havent been amazing, but the results have been right. Hopefully that continues.

I disagree with Earps in goal, but would i change her now if i was the manager? Probably not (though i still say we'd have a better chance with Ellie in goal).

Kirby's done little, but shes a top player for Chelsea. Would i drop her and put Toone in? Probably not. I dont see the fuss about Toone - she wastes possession 4/5 times by hitting a crap shot from 25 yards. Chloe Kelly is exciting and can beat players, but hasnt been great when she's come on. Also she usually plays wide not through the middle like Kirby.

Russo's been good, yes, but would she be from the start? White's pressing and workrate has been good and she is probably overall a more reliable finisher and less likely to be carded. We keep winning, so i understand not changing her.

Daly cant defend. She got skinned all over the place by the Spanish and Greenwood had to come on and show how to play the position. I dont understand not changing this!

Some arent in top form but can still deliver their moment, what we need. Expecting Lauren to have a big game in either the semi or final (hopefully both).
