Did we ever find out what type of knee injury Hemp had? She’s been out nearly 4 months now.

Watched the second half of the match. City didn’t seem to be under much pressure from Villa although the commentator said Villa had the better of the first half and should have been in the lead at half time. I did notice the Villa player Salmon did look good. One thing though, we did well picking up Viv Miedema on a free, she oozes class.

That first half was a tough watch, but much better second half, deservedly through without ever being sparkling.

Watched the second half of the match. Yeah, their one shot of the half when, for the first time they ventured into our half, was a poor miss, and despite doing nothing but keeping us at bay they could have gone in at HT one up, which is the exact measure of the kind of football we play. It lacks any urgency, dynamism and, dare I say, panache!

The highlights: Bunny and Jess's goals, the free parking, and the Cornish pastie had got from Asda for my dinner.

It started out as a bright sunny Mancunian Sunday afternoon but ninety mins later, apart from the win, I thought I'd been transported to a drizzly Tuesday evening in Peebles.

Good win. When is Lauren back ?

Don't think there's been any update since I posted the last one which had Lauren back sometime this month. Hopefully in time to play against Chelsea at some point over the next couple of weeks.

Was a terrible first half today. A couple of long range efforts from Viv otherwise 1 cross that Bunny nearly got on the end of were our only real chances. They had the better one with that breakaway and thankfully Yama made a cracking save. We were much better in the 2nd half but still not really that incisive. Beautiful assist from Mary for the Bunny goal which she took very well and Viv laid the 2nd on a plate for Jessie P. Job done and on to the semi-final. Will probably be a tough match whoever we get in the draw later with the Ragettes & Chelsea (please not again) and the winner of the Arsenal vs Liverpool game which is still currently deadlocked.
