What’s the most recognisable film music score?

Most musicals, probably. Most on here are remembering songs in films, rather than the whole score.

Pyscho or any of the Hitchcock/Herrmann collaborations .
 
I would most likely recognise it if I heard it but couldn't hum it off the top of my head. Only seen it once or twice but I wouldn't say its theme music is as iconic as Jaws or Bond.
Just go to any match with about 3 left in the season where one side is struggling but successfully. Try Wham this season.
It is a tradition in our house, whenever that film is on, to turn up the volume massively just as the song starts. No, me neither. A reminder of our good old days?

Chariots (already mentioned) by Vangelis would be my choice. The classiest soundtrack is West Side Story by Leonard Bernstein.
