Seeking out RAGS and then putting them out of thei
Had too much to drink last night, fell asleep downstairs, wokeup at around 4ish on sofa then went to bed. Now here is the bad news for me, I got up this morning to find I had knocked my Carlsberg Export over my laptop and it is now knackered (won't turn on).

Expensive way to start my birthday and need to start looking for a new one today as my son is already peeved that I am using his. I dont need it for work of any kind but use for the web and music.

Any suggestions on where I should be looking for something no more than £400.

Will check back later as son wants his laptop back ;(

At 48 today, you would have thought I would know better! beer and laptops dont mix.

need a phone? for some reason you can get one free if you take out a 2 year contract with carphone warehosue

Seems ok for under 400

Happy Birthday

I recently bought a hp mini net book, was a bit wary getting one because its hard to type with cigar hands.

however for what I use it for (similar to what you said), its really sound. It has a brill battery, plenty of memory ect and the keyboard is 93% of a laptop.

Its about 240.00 quid and no Im not on commission :)

Good luck!

Cheers to everyone, I have now bought a new laptop and am now £500 worse off.

Now going to spend time loading all my stuff back on from external hard drive, what a bind but hey ho!

Now having a birthday drink but have put it about 3 foot away from this laptop.
