I feel the need to vent some of my feelings, please bear with me...

For almost 20 years now I have actively followed City. I have witnessed the highs and the lows. Granted, there have been an awful lot of 'lows' in the last 15 years but its what being a City fan is all about...adversity. We have bounced back from some crap situations and have been the subject of lots of bad press over the years. From relegations to being owned by a war criminal, no one can argue, being a blue comes with its 'baggage'...

Given this, you lot should be used to us being on the receiving end of what happened on Saturday. However, so many of you are overeacting and being very negative towards Mancini and the players. For me he is still the right man for the job, he simply made a tactical mistake against Utd, a mistake which a team as good as Utd capitalised on. They never give up, and you cannot afford to sit back and let them come at you...so yeah, it sucks, but it happens, just seems to happen to us a lot...For me the worst thing about Saturdays loss, is the fucking texts and emails from rag colleagues and friends, gloating...I could have happily snapped someones neck on Saturday afternoon...

I actually fear coming on here now after games like Saturday. Why is it everyone expects our transition to happen overnight? If you would have offered me our current league posiition pre season, I would have snapped your hand off. We are still only 2 points off 4th, with 4th to play...The way i see it, we should be rallying together now and giving the club our full support for these last fixtures, not turning into doom merchants because a couple of fixtures went against us...

So what if we finish 5th? I'll take that...Yes, for me it wont be an underachievment. I'll be dissapointed at all the draws and silly losses to teams like Hull, but its still a major step towards our goal and I do firmly believe next year we can make a real run at things, and I think we have a great chance of achieving silverware. Lets give Mancini a fair crack of the whip and prove ourselves to be the loyal and faithful fans we should be...some times things are going to go against us, thats football. We just need to accept that, move on, and get behind the team!

Big game this weekend, and I feel their loss to Wigan will have knocked the wind from their sails. They technically have nothing to play for now and will be despondant, we need to capitalise on this and go for the kill. Arsenal are suspect defensively and their keepers are a joke, we can win this game, and for me it would be very 'city' of us to do so.

I agree with you mate. But I think it's just that yet again we lose to a fucking injury time goal to, of all people, those cnuts.

I still think we can grab 4th, but we cannot under any circumstances afford any more defeats from now on. A draw at Arsenal and 3 wins will do it, I'm concinced of that.

I've a sneaky feeling you lot are going to beat Arsenal... they're surely going to be demoralised now with nothing really left to fight for where as you'll surely be gunning to put last weekend behind you, while Utd will be all out to beat spurs.

Didn't think it could get much worse until Barca let me down on one bet and Hoffenheim scored in last minute to kill off my other one.

I was at the Dortmund game mate its only 5 mins from where I live, they are in the same situation as us. 80,000 crowd, great atmosphere, last minute equaliser, no trouble and to relieve the tension I smoked in the grown up designated smoking area. 800 miles makes a difference !!!

Horrible weekend and horrible Monday. I despise them horrible rags even more now. Didn't think that was possible. Graceless tv watching twats.

Roll on the weekend. We all have a job to do.

I had a horrendous Saturday, it involved the police after the game, so I won't go into it here! But I can't wait to go down the Smoke on Saturday, really looking forward to it. As a club we have to start coming together and have the "staring in the face of adversity" attitude that Fergie instills so well into United.

In other words, pick ourselves up, dust ourselves down, and look forward to the most exciting, positive end to a season in years.
