What age to take my little one to her first game?

We have got a little girl, she's 2 in July and I want to take her to a match.

The missis although a blue isn't really interested in City (except for Joe Hart)! So I will have to take her to sit with me and my dad. I would rather her be into ballet and dancing etc rather than football, but I want her to go to just one game so that one day she can say that she went as a baby!

Does anyone thing that 21 months is to young? I realise I probably won't be able to stay till the end of that game just want to take her in case I never have a son! The missis and my mam are dead against it!

Has anyone on here ever took a baby to a match? (One of the best pics I've ever seen is with that blue at Wembley v Stoke with a new born baby girl in his arms)!

My eldest was 18 months old, took her to the Friday night ''Brian who?'' game against Coventry in 93.
My youngest I took to the last game of the Kippax terrace, 11 weeks old in 94...... took her out of the sling and touched her little legs on the terrace.
Both became 4th generation Blues standing on the Kippax!

my boy was 6, was against wba at etihad, hated it, too many ppl for him bless him, cried when we were cheering/singing had to bring him home after about 60 mins, wasnt too bad as was 0-0,lol but has been fine ever since

Same as Welsh Andy, although I took my lad when he was 3. Against Liverpool.

Happy on the bus, happy in the pub with a juice, happy in the stadium with chips, tears when Dzeko opens the scoring. Only time in my life I've left a stadium after 30 minutes.

Took my daughter aged 6 and my son aged 4,both loved it, both have season tickets daughters now 18 and son is 9.like De niro said cost a fortune with Wembley trips and the odd away game

I took my boy to the Watford cup match in Jan he was 16 months
I normally sit in 111 but moved to the second tier as 111 is probably not suitable for a child
He loved all the noise and sat watching the game. He got a bit worried with the noise when we levelled but realised it was a goal and cheered along

He been to 2 games since (stoke and fulham) and has loved it luckily I have a mate who sits on his own at the other end of the kippax near the family stand whos willing to swap seats with me
