To be fair the northstand gave it a go last night ,i have lost my voice today but it will be better for the swamp,i think it suffered because different parts of the ground were singing different songs ,coudnt get it together ,and when are city gonna learn playing bluemoon over the tannoy doesnt work..

I don't like criticising fellow blues but when the "Stand Up If You Love City" went round the ground in the 2nd half I could not believe some near me just sat stayed sat down.

Well......

For one it didn't go round the ground, it never got near the southeast or southwest corners, and there are a lot like me, who think that errrr song? is bloody cringeworthy, so don't join in with it. There are so many better songs/chants, like "We are City from Maine Road", "City, City, best team in all the land and all the world" (and soon enough that will be true), even "We love you City", and "City till I die".

Pretty shit, but it isnt helped when the away fans stand in silence for 90mins

Fucking hell mate, I'm gonna be honest here but I have to admit their fans showed us up last night, no matter how much I hate them, I have to admit this.

We needed gimmicks for our semi final, they made their own atmosphere and were miles better than us.

Sorry but the free flags etc aren't for me.

Their fans were loud till we scored, (almost every song anti city) after that I thought they were poor. We were poor most of the first half but got better. Thought the family stand was in fine voice last night, well done and lets keep it up!

I agree there are better songs but it's hard to get a lot of those going in areas that rarely sing anyway. The stand up song maybe isn't the best but it's one that has been around for years and used to get the support of those who rarely join in. And in front of the scum you'd think people would support whatever song it is as long as it's about City. I sang all night and there were some around me who were trying to do the same but others who pissed me off because they couldn't be arsed but then probably went home moaning the atmosphere wasn't that good.

I thought the atmospehere was crap considering it was a semi against them. We only seem to sing when not losing. The team have to take a bit of responsibility aswell because they came out slower than a sloth on a sunday stroll. And for the record that stand up if you love city song is absolute shite and annoying more than anything else. Im sure next week the rags will be saying the same thing, away support is always better.

I think that is the best 110 has been this sesion, thats all i can say really as 110 always sounds load when your in the middle of it.

You are joking aren't you? For the first 40mins 110 was pretty much mute!

I think the reason atmosphere has died at football matches is cos the fans of yesteryear are now being priced out of matches. No more cheap standing tickets is what has put pay to this and the sooner they find someway of letting a supporter stand for half the price the better!
