What did SKY used to call...

It would usually show a boring as fuck Mourinho/Bentiez inspired 0-0 and a great 3-3 draw between Arsenal and United.

-- Thu Apr 19, 2012 8:01 pm --

Super Sunday is the 16:00 game on every Sunday; even if it's Stoke v Blackburn it's called "Super Sunday".

no, super sunday is every week. they used to fix the fixtures so that united would play arsenal and chelsea would play liverpool but they'd have a special name for these pre-arranged occasions. can't think of it for the article i'm writing.

-- Thu Apr 19, 2012 9:02 pm --

Ahhhhhhh.....aka The contrived load of old bollocks featuring the Old Boys club. Funny how a set of "random generated" fixtures can arrive at such a scenario. Just like the Scum always get a promoted club at home as their first game every season? Sounds like a conspiracy to me ;-)

Its no different over here in the states if it makes you feel any better. Big market teams make the most money, thus get the rub of the green and most media coverage. ESPN is the worst over here. Different networks have popped up recently with the respective sport getting its own channel, run by that league. Its much more fair and not biased against smaller teams here (Tennessee, Kansas, smaller markets) which is very nice.
