New Maine Road would have been better or just Maine Road, should have renamed a street Maine Road and chucked in Kippax Street for good measure.

Majority of people I talk football to call citys ground Eastlands, it seems to have stuck for me. Sad though it may seem,Maine Road comes into the conversation less and less. I miss Maine Road but what a bloody good stadium Eastlands is, long live Eastlands.

We still dont seem to have a 'proper' name which everyone can associate with for our stadium do we? 'COMS' 'EASTLANDS' 'BLUECAMP' Non of us seem to settle on one particular name, unlike MAINE ROAD which everyone knew was our home ground. Or are we waiting for some naming rights bonanza such as the 'ETIHAD' stadium to come to fruition. ? I for one dont know what to answer when asked where city will be playing and its a home game. (Maine Road slips out frequently)!
