ITK, or Iota Tau Kappa, is a fraternal organization with the Greek motto Δεν τα ξέρετε κάτι που γνωρίζω. (Translation: I know something you don't know.)

Members of this group swear an oath to reveal to as many people as possible the fact they are in possession of one or more pieces of news of interest to that person, then subsequently refusing to share said information. Occasionally a cryptic clue might be given as a consolation to the other party. By engaging in this behavior the net result if a rise in aggregate annoyance with the side effect of ego augmentation on the part of the ITK.

The organization maintains a well-organized counterintelligence operation known as Wild Utterance Mission, or WUM, that employs false and often nonsensical claims as a means of creating confusion amongst the public about the true nature of ITK, while at the same time increasing the profile of the organization. It is a well-known fact that members of ITK are forbidden from disclosing their membership in the organization, so anyone who claims to be ITK is actually a WUM.
