What is or was your Gran/Nan/Grandmas first name?

Both of my grandmothers were know by their second names instead of their first. One grandad did the same.

Alma & Dorothy.

Passed away at 105 and 98 respectively. Dorothy had the Priest round for the last rites and perked right up for another year or so.

Fun fact. When I was born I had 4 grandparents, 3 great grandparents and 1 great, great grandparent who eventually passed at 108 when I was 7. Hang on like grim death my family.
