57 in 1992/93 first season of the premier league, but it was 22 teams that year so 42 games.

What I'm getting out of this, is that whether Champions League or Europa, this will be one of if not our best seasons ever? Sounds good to me and sure feels that way.

Its a good season, but football started before 1992 ;-)
We have won the top division, the Cup Winners Cup, the FA Cup, the League Cup, and been runners up a number of times in all those competitions. So not our best ever season by a long way.
