What is the best Indian Restaurant in Manchester

Depends what you're after.

Quick, cheap and cheerful - Phatta Phat (Used to be This n That) on Butter Street near Kendals.

EastzEast, Swadesh, Akbars & Zouk are all ok.

Went in Zaika on Watson Street near 235 Casino last week and that was really nice.

eastzeast is excellent oo, naans are huge tho!

went there for my birthday in november all style over substance if you ask me

Akbars is nice but all the tables are crammed together so it feels like your sat with about 40 people

try lal qila on deansgate opposite to hilton (the old pig and porquipine) its just been renovated and is very tasty

oh and third eye in didsbury is gorgeous not sure its strictly indian but its great

Not technically in Manchester but the Mousam in Gatley is spot on. As is Lal Qila, until i was sat at a table next to a picture of Nani on the wall with the owner. not happy, asked to be moved immediately.
