Not much to be proud of being British in my opinion, maybe the NHS but that's being dragged down each year.

The country is a bit of a shithole and the people are for the most part worse.

No. You might argue that Coronation Street and Oasis are part of UK culture. Lots of people like them. They are part of the UK's cultural output.

Whether something is boring or not depends on personal taste. I find golf and tennis fucking boring, but other people can't get enough. Think of it as a menu with a very large choice. You can enjoy black pudding or lobster thermador. Both are food.

You can be glad possibly. That is the definition. You can't be proud of where you are born or from as it is an accident of birth etc. I am proud I passed my silver swimming badge.

It was good - no great - just avoid falling into the trap that this is all English patriotism to like Carmen etc - good music is good music

A proper steak and kidney suet pudding is wonderful. Pic of one below in the Roebuck at Strinesdale, highly recommended. 20 minute wait but worth it !

To be fair I love the English pomp of it. I thought they were all English to be honest, but in general I just find it a really good watch.
