My family tradition was always to watch the queen’s speech then tuck in. So about 3.30.

The mrs is saying that’s far too late.

Am I the one in the wrong here?

We’ve got my parents coming round and we’re eating around 2pm in an act of compromise.

1:30 for us.
30 years ago it was pub for 12 then arrive back home to the full works on the table at 3:00. Thought I was living the dream at the time but now I'm domesticated I play more of a part in it all and absolutely love it.
How time's have changed.

Same.

I’m the cook in our house and I love doing all the prep while quaffing on champagne and listening to a bit of Bing Crosby.

Just finished the main course.
Too stuffed to eat anything else for a while.
