I'm in a little situation where some advice would be welcome, basically a girl I was friendly with at Uni with was in a relationship where the bf used to beat her up. Now this only came to light recently as she subsequently left the said thug, he has not accepted leaving her so has gone on a weird stalking craze with her and a couple of others including myself.

I get messages on my phone over and over again calling me and my family with threats saying he knows where I am etc, she has been told the threats will all stop if he gets back with her. Now he has only plugged onto me as he saw we were speaking a bit. He also says he is getting texts off me with threats and the girl is saying she is getting the same.

Basically is it possible my phone can be cloned so messages can be received by others from my number ?

Also should I call this guy out and arrange a meet for his past indiscretions?

P.s The police have done jack shit apart from said to make notes.

Don't arrange to meet him. Especially if it's not in public. He sounds very unpredictable and could be carrying a weapon or whatever. I'd keep pressuring the police, saying that you and your friend are in real danger. If you keep going to them telling them, they'll eventually do something about it. He's threatened you and there's a crime there.

And smash the girl's back doors in.

You can ring your mobile network and get them to block that number from texting and ringing you.

Whilst I know violence should never be advocated.

I had a smiliar experience with my ex of 6 years. About 6 months in she told me that her (army wanker) ex used to hit her etc and broke down crying about it.

So I jumped in my car, drove down to Devon, where he lived. Rang his doorbell and chinned him, then kicked him a bit.

Not big, clever or legal but I still feel it was the right thing to do personally.

I do not like men that hit women.
