I believe we should have a statue of Marc Vivien Foe because we already have memories of Bell and Mercer with the main stand in Bell's name and 'Joe Mercer Way' leading up to the ground. I think there is a little memory of MVF in the memorial garden but a statue of him would be good. As much of a legend the Goat was I don't think he deserves a statue to be honest.

How about, once it's removed and that whole bit is opened up, it will be a long direct path to the ground... on both sides of that path a series of statues of our favourite 'sons' all the way down.

Yeah that works with an encoded voice message on the laser beam using a polarised acousto-optic modulator, which alien life forms can extract using a Michelson-type interferometer and a FM radio. (They must have 'em right?). Message: City, City, the best team in the land and universe. Better double up with a bit of morse code just to make sure. Nurse!
