Not normally a fan of "best of" albums but partial to a bit of Franz Ferdinand. Managed to get "Hits to the Head" for £12 on Amazon last night. Obviously must have been a pricing glitch.
 
Last vinyl record I bought - hell, I've no idea it's been so long.

I do, however remember this...

At 16 or so I remember getting into Led Zeppelin. My Mom brought me to the local music store and I picked out Physical Graffiti.

When I got home I put the record on and started up my tape recorder - so I could play the record on tape. The first song I put on - 2 records - and 2 sides - was "In the Light."

The record was slightly warped - and it skipped on my record player. My Mom hated the song - and indeed the entire album. We returned the album for another - and I think it skipped too!

I love you Mom for putting up with me and for buying a record that you hated. RIP.

Anyhow, here's "In the Light," - not skipping.
