What was the terrace fashion on the Kippax in the 1980s?

Always spent a good amount of time in Hurleys pre match when milling around town.

My old man was well in to golf and I used to nick his jumpers, all pringle, lyle & Scott. Good times. First and only time hes ever been on trend
Used to work at Hurley’s. Sometimes locked the doors when Liverpool or Everton were passing through town

I watched that a few weeks ago. Was ok, nothing new and everyone arguing who were the first to dress as a casual. Cockneys hate not being first to things.

I read a half decent book a few years ago about the casuals. Phil Thornton I think wrote it although I may be wrong.
Today everyone just wears the same Stone Island gear and similar attire. No thought has gone in to it like the lads from the 80s.
I enjoy hearing about tales of traveling over Europe looking for the latest Adidas trainers or Fila tracksuit top. I know not everyone will agree with the casuals/hooligan movement but it was what it was and a part of UK culture.
