What was your first 'proper' job & how long did you last?

Recently managed to bag myself my first graduate job, starting in a couple of weeks (suppose I'll need to dip back into my 'doing fuck all' thread for a little while longer!). Anyway, what was your first 'proper' full-time job & how long did you last? Can we mock any posters for getting themselves sacked on the first day?

Insurance broker lasted 2 years and walked out - got drunk and played pool all afternoon it was a Tuesday had another job by the following Monday earning the grand total of £30 a week lol

Brushed snooker tables after school for £2.50 an hour aged 14 about ten hours a week for two years before I got a national insurance number. Then washed pots for almost twice that after age 16, and spent the next few years after that cheffing/waitering.

Used to love that first job. Rollerbladed there, had my minidisc player on and sneaked fags whenever I wanted.
