About 50 years ago , adidas santiago's were the dogs bollocks , screw in alloy studs , half the Wigan Boys team i played for wore them , proud as punch when i got them for my 13th birthday , used to clean, wax & dubbin them after every game.

I have been waiting for someone to mention them cracking boots
