What will it take for Ireland to win a start?

I can't understand why Ireland is not starting nor - given whatever reason for him not starting, see him starting anytime soon.

I think he is the "final ball" player we have been lacking and we do need him back starting games.

But how is that going to happen?

Ireland will have a starting place. But he was ill and everything wasnt he so just give the lad some time. I am sure he will be back to his best!!

De Jong and Barry are undroppable at the moment (and probably forever) so where does he fit in? We've lost once all season and that was in dubious circumstances and bar the Villa 25 mins or so Stevie's been poor this season. Many would say he should be playing instead of SWP but that would mean he's out of position. He'll be back, don't worry too much.

Because he has had a poor season and 10 good minutes in a game doesn't earn you a starting place the next one.
