i know he will miss a lot,but if you were allowed one to name, what would it be, mine.... he will miss paul scholes going for the legs of a city player and not the ball

Isn't that more commonly called a 'Scholesy tackle' followed by an 'isn't he a wee scamp' chuckle from Andy Gray?

How the fuck that ginger prick has got away with it all through his career is beyond me.

I suppose he has more excuse now he is almost blind...

That pisses me off, just because somebody "can't tackle" doesn't mean that they should get away with regular potentially damaging "tackles".

And I'm guessing it'll be a Scholes "tackle" on one of our forwards inside the box.

I have said it often on this forum, the Ginger Pig is one among a growing throng of footballers who seem to have four or five chances of hefty tackles before they get a yellow, which more often than not comes around the 87th minute. Scholes is the one EPL footballer who has probably got away with more cautionable tackles than anyone else in the entire universe.

Exactly, When I was watching Blackburn v Rags, Scholes dived into a tackle and he was nowhere near the ball, And Andy Gray just laughed and said 'Thats a typical Scholes tackle he shouldnt get booked for it'

So he's allowed get away with tackles like that just because he cant tackle!
