What's the difference between Cancelo's foul and TAA's 'challenge'?

He did wipe him out. It was soft but he effectively ran towards Wilson, who took a touch which straightened the trajectory of the ball. In hindsight he could have just ignored Wilson and got his body in front of it. I think Ederson was closing down the shot anyway as it wasn't a great touch by Wilson and Ederson had anticipated it. But unfortunately in the slippy conditions Cancelo ends up charging Wilson and because of the touch it probably is a foul. I'd want it at the other end! Our penalty was pretty soft and we won the game so no harm done in the end. If the ref had an agenda he wouldn't have given the De Bruyne pen - which was one - but was also soft.
We’ll have to disagree, “wiped out” is way over the top, he deliberately stopped him but it was really soft.

Semantics. It was a soft foul and like I say, one I'd want given if it happened by say Milner on Foden at Anfield.

Put your hand on your heart and tell me if that was Salah or God forbid Salah V City, this place wouldn’t be in uproar over the cheating, diving bastard?
Salah gets these all the time, he’s just much better at disguising the dive. Yes, it’s annoying but until referees learn to spot simulation then it becomes part of the game.

Don’t think the scousers have been awarded a penalty this season yet.

Edit: Apart from the Community Shield handball against Dias.
