I remember Kane getting called out a few seasons back for looking at players then backing into them while they were high off the ground going for headers.
A very dangerous deliberate tactic by the big chinned wanker, but he stopped as a result of being called out.
Those 2 rats T-rent and Nobbo at Liverpool continually shove players off the pitch as the media doesn't highlight it and Klopp obviously gives them the nod to do it.
It will take a serious injury to an opposing player before the refs dare stop the Dippers from doing it

The very obvious difference was that yet again, England is on VAR duty for a Liverpool game and yet again they benefit from his ( lack of) decision.

I find it odd and sinister how the exact same officials keep getting the exact same teams seemingly all the time?

I aggree, but the video shows the same contact between TAA and the forward. At no point was it shoulder to shoulder.

It was a blatant push from behind from TAA, it's a clear and obvious foul. If that doesn't fall under their definition of clear and obvious, I've no idea what does. There's no debate, it's a penalty all day. Incompetence or worse are the only reasons it wasn't given.


Cancelo one was just as clear of a penalty, however I'm not really buying the red card.

He's given a red card under the "no attempt to play the ball" rule but a shoulder barge is a perfectly legal action, he's attempted a shoulder barge and got it wrong, if the shoulder barge is a fair and successful one, he gains control of the situation and the ball, therefore you cannot say there was no attempt to play the ball.

There was no attempt to play the ball. Had the shoulder charge worked, that would be irrelevant, but as it didn't work it's a red all day and every day. The rule for DOGSO is play the ball, not gain control of the ball

You can say the one yesterday should have been a pen but you can’t seriously say he prevented a goal scoring opportunity so it was a red card.. the spurs player was running the ball out of play
